American Water Well Services

American Water Well Services Inc. is an all-inclusive water well company that has been providing quality services to Bandera County and the surrounding area since 2009. Dan Thaler Sr. began working in the water well industry in 1983. Dan combined his years of experience and multitude of valued customers to open and operate his own company, American Water Well Services Inc. He has held a Master Well Driller’s and Pump Installer’s License since 1991. Throughout Daniel Thaler Sr.’s career, he made sure to pass on his enthusiasm and wisdom of this industry to his kids from an early age. He took them to many jobs ensuring they grew up with a hard work ethic while also building an unbreakable bond with his beloved children. Both of his sons, Daniel Thaler Jr., and Nathan Thaler have recently come aboard to contribute to the legacy of this family business. The combined experience of the Thaler family is an astonishing 57 years!

The Thaler family has strived to keep the overhead cost of the business low, so that they can pass the savings on to their valued customers. There is a service technician on call 7 days a week to ensure the quickest response possible to our clients’ needs. We are very proud of our professional, experienced employees that always go above and beyond to put the customers’ needs as the number one priority, daily.  We strive to help educate our clients with simple solutions to minor troubleshooting issues over the phone, to save them as much money as possible.

The company’s growth is continually on the rise. In 2009, there was only one employee on the payroll, just Daniel Thaler Sr., with the occasional help from a couple contract laborers as needed. As of July 2022, American Water Well Services Inc. has 10 of the most dedicated and hardworking employees in the Hill Country. American Water Well Services Inc. is proud to have the third generation of the Thalers involved in serving this community with their parents, and grandparents.                       

For the future of American Water Well Services Inc., we hope to increase the number of service trucks and add an additional drilling rig to keep providing exceptional service with the increasing demand for water wells in this area.  

Daniel and Kathryn Thaler have been proud residents of Bandera County since the 1970s. Both attended Bandera ISD. They choose to raise their family and start their business in the community they fell in love with. They are both proud to call Bandera County their home, and are honored to be a part of making that same statement to be true for others through American Water Well Services Inc.
