Coconut Cowboys

Imagine yourself lounging in a comfy chair on a tropical island with a frozen drink in your hand......aside from the palm trees, you just might find yourself inside Coconut Cowboys on Main Street in Bandera Texas! Although you won't find any sand to bury your feet in, you WILL find great conversation and smiling faces.

Lindsay Barnett and her husband Mike longed to open a business in Bandera that would offer something a little different. Mike's love of the coast and Lindsay's business savvy came together to create Coconut Cowboys, a welcoming place to hang out with family and friends during the day for a cold treat or warm coffee. Many high school and junior high students flock to Coconut Cowboys after school each day to chill for a while. Lindsay commented that it's great for adults and kids alike.

Both small town people, Lindsay and Mike knew they were where they wanted to be and quickly became part of the community. Feedback from customers has helped them expand their services and they do their best to accommodate requests. Currently they offer frozen yogurt, boba teas, coffee & espresso, and snacks. They are discussing many upgrades and enhancements to what they offer, including golf cart rentals and kayaks (during the summer months). Lindsay hopes to one day open the shop up for parties and small family gatherings, such as for baby showers and birthdays.
